SELETTI @ PRINTEMPS IN PARIS : A SPECIAL HOLIDAY SEASON EDITION OF ITS SELETTI MARKET

From October 18 to January 18 2025, Printemps, one of Paris’s most prestigious and visited department stores, will host Seletti Market, a project that showcases the brand’s distinctive vision through a special Holiday Season edition. Inspired by the atmosphere of Northern European holiday markets, the installation presents a new take on seasonal shopping, infused with Seletti’s unmistakable style.

After bringing its imaginative universe to some of the symbolic places of international shopping such as La Rinascente in Milan and Rome and Selfridges in London, Seletti now presents its creativity to Paris. The project combines irony, pop culture references and design, transforming the department store into a surreal supermarket where visitors can live an immersive and unconventional shopping experience.

Developed in collaboration with Milan-based studio Brigolin Baschera, the space mirrors the layout of a real supermarket: aisles, trolleys and baskets lead visitors to the checkout, while colorful shelves, fridges hiding unexpected objects, and posters reminiscent of promotional flyers, reinterpreted in a dreamlike key, create a playful setting. The setting blends with the festive atmosphere of winters markets, featuring decorations and products that make up the ultimate holiday shopping list, presented inside the Mode Femme department.

In addition to Seletti’s bestselling pieces, the Seletti Market at Printemps will present a curated selection of new products particularly suited to this special festive period.

Among the brand’s most iconic pieces is Wonder, the first collaboration between Seletti and Uto Balmoral: a lamp that combines pop irony and classical references, transforming a Renaissance-inspired bust into a contemporary gesture, a man blowing a pink chewing-gum bubble illuminated by a soft LED light. Wonder is a metaphor for freedom and imagination, a perfect encounter between art, design, and play.
